BikeMorzine is a mountain biker owned and operated company looking to hire an hard working individual for the role of Chalet Host / Mechanic at the legendary Chalet Arthur.
This role combines the hosting & cleaning responsibilities of Chalet Arthur alongside running a Mechanics service for our customers. Applicants must be outgoing, confident and sociable in all situations as the majority of role involves face to face communication with clients. Strong organisational skills and forward thinking will ensure you can get the job done and have plenty of time to ride your bike almost every day of the week.
The role involves the following core responsibilities but is constantly evolving:
Ensuring Chalet Arthur guests are having the holiday of a lifetime
Daily Cleaning of Chalet Arthur
Up-keeping high levels of security in Chalet Arthur
Operating a mechanics service within BikeMorzine properties
Quality control of accommodation cleanliness levels
Daily Communication with guests
Communicating with other members of staff
Reporting to Morzine Resort Manager
Helping organise & run Morzine's only free race series & parties.
Successful Applicants must be a passionate mountain biker with a plenty of Morzine experience, confident in all situations and have enough energy to ride their bike & manage their well being alongside work.

Speak basic French
Previous mechanics experience is a must, all applicants must be confident providing the following mechanics service as a bare minimum:
Servicing high level mountain bikes
Servicing FOX & ROCKSHOX forks
Bleeding Avid & Shimano brakes
Bleeding dropper posts
Setting up tubeless tyres
Setting up gears
This position is available from 1st June - 15th September 2018, the applicant will be living in Chalet Arthur sharing a room with another staff member. BikeMorzine will provide accommodation, a weekly wage, a brand new bike from our sponsors (for the season), travel to & from Morzine, a huge amount of riding gear from our epic sponsors and everything we can to provide the season of a lifetime.
