The Worlds funnest MTB race series in Morzine.

Fun, Light hearted and accessible to all, these are the 3 main principles of Bike Morzine mates races . These are not "races" as you know them; no pressure, no ego and crappy tracks and bon vibes only. The Bike Morzine mates race series provides a light hearted, friendly and interesting format to race against your mates.

These races are completely free of charge and aim to bring the Morzine summer community together over their love of riding bikes, all washed down by plenty of beers and some good food. Races you'll never forget & after parties you'll never remember. The races are free of charge to enter but please bring cash for a charitable donation, we use these races as an opportunity to raise money for many great causes, including the Morzine Youth Downhill team, Elle Souter foundation, planting trees & building new trails.

For those who haven't been to our mates races before, these are super low-key, friendly and social 'races'. Our aim is to bring the Morzine MTB community together and focus more on the "mates" than the "races", so if you're wanting to take things seriously then you've come to the wrong place. Everyone is welcome here, come along, have fun and make some new mates.

Specifics and sign up details will be posted for each race roughly one week before the race on the @bikemorzine instagram and race details will be posted below. Race entries will be limited to 100 people and are subject to date change.

RIP OFF WORLDS

The infamous Bike Morzine Rip Off Worlds is back for the 5th time and it is set to be the biggest and best Morzine MTB event of the year! Expect some of the Worlds best riders to be throwing down some huge Whips, Flips & Tricks on the notorious "WidowMaker" tabletop jump on Super Morzine before moving to a jam session on the nearby trick jump. The 300+ crowd will be kept lively with an Ibex Brewery Bar, Hideout Pizza Truck, Bike Morzine Merch Store and and pumping tunes! Bring cash for drinks & food

Ladies Only Race

Every year we see the number of females stoked on riding bikes grow and grow, not only in our little slice of paradise but all over the World. Mountain biking has been a male dominated sport for too long and we think more females in the sport we love is absolutely something to be celebrated!

Racing can be intimidating for people new to the sport so with this race we want to break down those barriers and invite all the lady huckers from beginners to World cup veterans to a girls only, low-key and fun race between friends. Those who have been to any BIke Morzine mates race will know that the emphasis is on the 'mates' and definitely not the 'race'.

Fun, Lighthearted & accessible to all are the key principles to these 'races' and we don't care if you're first or last, at the end of the day the person having the most fun & making new riding buddies is the real winner!

Race Track is Tutti Frutti, the blue track to the riders right of Super Morzine. All jumps are optional/rollable. Track will finish just after the 2 table tops.

Meet at top of Zore Chairlift (very top of Super Morzine) for sign on at 4.45.

Hattock Downhill

Fast, Rooty and with big jumps, Hattock is Super Morzine's best impression of a World Cup Downhill track. With a large variety of line choice and plenty of areas to make up time, Hattock always makes for great racing. Come along, race against your mates and have a good time.

Pleney Chainless

An absolute classic and for good reason, the only chance to "race" some of the Worlds fastest racers down Europes original and most iconic downhill track.

This is your chance to be crowed the King or Queen of Le Pleney for 2023 an elusive title that brings with it fame, riches and sexual prowess like you have never experienced.

Last years race looked more like a World Cup than a mates race, except for the timing mishap and the fact it was waaaay more fun. Check out last years race here >>

Super Morzine Flow

A cruiser down D.A. Trail (red) on Super Morzine to kick start another fine season at the cutting edge of performance mountain cycling. This race is perfect for all levels of rider and everyone is welcome, if you're having fun then you are the real winner!

Meet at the top of Zore lift (very top of Super M) at 4.45 for registration. Last Zore lift is 5pm.

It will be your responsibility to get down to town after the race, the lifts will no longer be running.
