Covid-19 Pandemic 2020 (updated 19th January 2021)
To help support you during this difficult time we are doing everything we can answer all your questions, reduce any stress related to your holiday & provide flexible terms and conditions so we can still provide you with that holiday of a lifetime. Please note that the below cancellation policies apply to valid Covid-19 related reasons, all other cancellations are subject to our usual Terms & Conditions found here.
AIGLON MORZINE Valid for bookings made before September 2021
5.6. COVID 19 SPECIFIC CANCELLATION POLICY shall apply to all Bookings for arrival between 1st December 2020 and 30th September 2021. 5.6.1. For cancellations requested after You have paid Your deposit but before You have paid the balance: 5.6.1.2. If Travel Restrictions are in place which would affect Your travel to Us, Company shall issue a credit note to the value of the deposit valid for 24 months, or a refund of the deposit
5.6.1.3. If no Travel Restrictions are in place but You decide not to travel, this will be treated as a cancellation and You will not receive a refund or credit note. 5.6.2. For cancellations requested after You have paid Your balance: 5.6.2.1. If Travel Restrictions are in place which would affect Your travel to Us, Company shall issue a credit note to the value of the booking valid for 24 months, or a full refund less an administration fee of €200. 5.6.2.2. If no Travel Restrictions are in place but You decide not to travel, this will be treated as a cancellation and You will not receive a refund or credit note. 5.6.3. If at any time prior to Your stay with Us, We are forced to close due to local or French Covid-19 lockdown measures and will not be able to fulfil Your booking, We will issue You with choice of 100% refund or a 100% credit note valid for 24 months. 5.6.4. During Your stay with Us: 5.6.4.1. If Travel Restrictions are put in place forcing You to leave before the end of Your stay, Company will not issue any refund or credit in full or in part for any unused proportion of Your stay. 5.6.4.2. If We are forced to close due to local or French Covid-19 lockdown measures, Company will issue a refund or credit for the unused portion of Your stay. This shall apply to the accommodation costs only. 5.6.5. If at any time You show signs of, are quarantined for, or test positive for Covid-19, and We are open for business as usual, and there are no Travel Restrictions in force that would otherwise affect Your booking, this will be treated as a cancellation and You will not receive a refund or credit note. Clause 5.7.1.1 and 5.7.1.2 shall apply. You will need to claim on Your travel insurance. We will provide any reasonable documentation to support Your claim. 5.6.6. If at any time there are no Travel Restrictions in place but You have concerns about future government restrictions being applied, or a disinclination to travel because of Covid-19, this will be treated as a cancellation and You will not receive a refund or credit note. Clause 5.7.1.1 and 5.7.1.2 shall apply. You will need to claim on Your travel insurance. We will provide any reasonable documentation to support Your claim. 5.6.7. Travel Restrictions are defined as one or more of the following effective at the time of Your travel to us: 5.6.7.1. French or Swiss borders (if You have flights booked to Geneva) are closed; 5.6.7.2. Your departure country’s borders are closed; 5.6.7.3. Your departure country’s foreign office advises against all non-essential travel to France or Switzerland (if travelling through Geneva); 5.6.7.4. Travel in France is restricted; 5.6.7.5. Your departure country, French or Swiss (if travelling through Geneva) Governments impose mandatory quarantine conditions which deter You from travelling. 5.6.8. In all cases of cancellations due to Travel Restrictions, We will need to see proof of Your travel booking. 5.7. GENERAL CANCELLATION POLICY OUTSIDE OF COVID 19 shall apply to all other bookings made for arrival outside of 1st December 2020 and 30th September 2021. 5.7.1. YOUR DEPOSIT WILL BE RETAINED for administration costs and cancellation charges will be levied as follows: 5.7.1.1. 4 – 8 WEEKS BEFORE COMMENCEMENT OF HOLIDAY: 50% OF TOTAL HOLIDAY COST; 5.7.1.2. LESS THAN 4 WEEKS BEFORE COMMENCEMENT OF HOLIDAY: 100% OF TOTAL HOLIDAY COST

AUBERGADE HOTEL Valid for bookings made before June 1st
Any bookings made before June 1st for Summer 2021 will be fully refunded in the event of a cancellation due to a valid Covid-19 reason. If the client cancels due to valid reasons related to the COVID-19 pandemic, you will receive a full refund of monies paid.
Valid Reasons included;
Your home countries government are enforcing mandatory quarantine upon return from France.
France is enforcing mandatory quarantine for any arrivals from your home country
Border closures between France & your home country
Travel Restrictions /Bans between your home country & France.
If Hotel L'Aubergade has been forced to close by the French/Local Authorities
These restrictions must apply 2 weeks or less prior to your holiday starting date, in order to qualify. For all other cancellations our normal Terms & Conditions apply.
APARTMENTS DU BOURG Valid for bookings made before April 1st For any bookings made before 1st April, where the client cancels due to valid reasons related to the COVID-19 pandemic, you will receive a full refund of monies paid.
Valid Reasons included;
Border closures between France & your home country
Travel Bans between your home country & France.
Your home country states "No travel" to France (advising against but allowing travel does not suffice).
If Apartments Du Bourg have been forced to close due to laws & regulations of the French Authorities.
These restrictions must still apply 2 weeks prior to your holiday starting date, in order to qualify for free cancellations. Any other cancellations will be subject to our usual t&c's.
HIDEOUT HOSTEL Valid for bookings made after 5th Feb 202
Hideout Hostel offers 2 booking rates with varying flexibility, please see below.
ECONOMY RATE Normal T&C's apply, unless your holiday is cancelled for any of the reasons stated below.
- Hideout Hostel has been forced to close due to the laws and regulations of the French Government, as well as any other local or public authority - France goes into a national lockdown
If the above events happen then your balance payment will be fully refunded and your deposit payment automatically converted to a voucher for a future holiday at Hideout Hostel. This voucher is valid for 18 months after the arrival date of your existing booking. No other restrictions (including but not limited to home country travel bans, mandatory quarantines etc. ) count as a valid reason to cancel your holiday, therefore normal cancellation terms & conditions apply.
FLEXIBLE RATE (recommended) - The Flexi rate is +20% of the Economy Rate. - The Flexi rate offers the guest the right to cancel or change their holiday up to 2 weeks before their arrival date, completely free of charge. - If guests wish to cancel they will receive a full refund of all monies paid.
All Accommodation Bookings made before Jan 1st Any bookings made between 25th August 2020 and 1st January 2021, for Summer 2021 will be fully refunded in the event of a cancellation due to a valid Covid-19 reason. If the client cancels due to valid reasons related to the COVID-19 pandemic, you will receive a full refund of monies paid.

France is enforcing mandatory quarantine for any arrivals from your home country
Border closures between France & your home country
Travel Restrictions /Bans between your home country & France.
Your accommodation has been forced to close by the French Government/Authorities
These restrictions must apply 2 weeks or less prior to your holiday starting date, in order to qualify. For all other cancellations our normal Terms & Conditions apply.
BIKE HIRE, GUIDING AIRPORT TRANSFERS & LIFT PASSES Valid for all Summer 2021 bookings
Any bookings made for Summer 2021 will be fully refunded in the event of a cancellation due to a valid Covid-19 reason. If the client cancels due to valid reasons related to the COVID-19 pandemic, you will receive a full refund of monies paid.
Valid Reasons included;
Your home countries government are enforcing mandatory quarantine upon return from France.
France is enforcing mandatory quarantine for any arrivals from your home country
Border closures between France & your home country
Travel Restrictions /Bans between your home country & France.
If Morzine has been forced to close by the French/Local Authorities
These restrictions must apply 2 weeks or less prior to your holiday starting date, in order to qualify. For Covid cancellations closer than 2 weeks to your holiday or non-valid covid cancellations our normal Terms & Conditions apply. Cancellations will receive a 75% refund of their total balance. Forfeiting their 25% deposit for administration & cancellation fees.
