We always reccommend a full Portes du Soleil Area lift pass, which allows you to ride all connected lifts the the massive Portes du Soleil area.

Childrens rate passes for 5-15 years old.
Youth Passes for 15 - 25 years old.

In general most lifts across the Portes du Soleil are open from 9AM - 4.30PM - 5PM, however this varies lift by lift. Some lifts such as Le Pleney (Tuesdays & Thursdays)  and Super Morzine (Wednesdays) open for late nights till 7PM during peak season.

Absolutely - the mountains in Morzine are huge and the lift network is one of the best connected and best value in the World. Rather than ride 1 trail a day climbing by pedal power, you can ride 25+ in a day using the lift network.

Yes, most normal E-bikes are allowed on the Morzine / Portes du Soleil lift network.

Yes, we have had lots of disabled riders visit in the past. As adaptive bikes come in all shapes and sizes and all lifts are different the lift crews will do the best they can to get you and your bike loaded on the lift.

In general the lifts stay open in most weather but the lifts have to close in the risk of the thunderstorm for the safety of the users. This may happen abrumptly so keep you eyes out for signage and speak to staff if you are worried about getting stuck somewhere.

In the event of lifts closing due to thunderstorms there will not be any compensation offered.  

Yes you can access the vast majority of lifts for hiking with your MTB Lift pass, great for those rest days.  There are a small number of lifts that require additional passes such as accessing the Point D'Nyon.

In general Morzine lift passes are non-refundable. If you have an accident or emergency  and cannot use your liftpass we reccommend claiming this back from your insurance company.

If you have booked accommodation through Bike Morzine -
Your Lift pass will be waiting for you upon arrival.

If you have booked bike hire through Bike Morzine -
Your lift pass will be waiting to be collected with your bike.

If you have just booked lift pass with Bike Morzine - Your lift pass will be ready for collection from a drop box at Stay Hideout Reception. We will text you collection details the day before.

Your lift pass is loaded onto a plastic card that you will keep with you. This wirelessly scans against the gates at the lift station allowing you access. Any issues please speak to the lift operator.

We highly reccommend all users take a photo of their liftpass number. This means if you lose your lift pass you can just show the lift desk your lift pass number and they will issue you a new card (~£3) and you can get back to riding!

If you have not taken a photo of your lift pass things become a lot harder. If you have pre-booked your lift passes with Bike Morzine please get in touch and we can help find your pass number, there may be an admin fee.

For mountain biking then yes we reccommend buying a lift pass and riding some of the green flow trails around Les Gets or Super Morzine.

If you just want to do some cycling there are flat trails by the river and lake in Morzine that may be more suitable.

In general Morzine lift passes are non-transferrable and only for the purchasers use.

Photo ID is required for longer lift passes and may be inspected at lift stations. Using the wrong pass may result in fines.
