The Worlds funnest MTB non-race series in Morzine.

Fun, Light hearted and accessible to all, these are the 3 main principles of the Mates races . These are not "races" as you know them; no pressure, no ego and crappy tracks and bon vibes only. The Bike Morzine mates race series provides a light hearted, friendly and interesting format to race against your mates.

These races are completely free of charge and aim to bring the Morzine summer community together over their love of riding bikes, all washed down by plenty of beers and some good food. The races are free of charge to enter but please bring cash for a charitable donation, we use these races as an opportunity to raise money for many great causes, including the Morzine Youth Downhill team, Elle Souter foundation, planting trees & building new trails.

For those who haven't been to one of the mates races before, these are super low-pressure, friendly and social 'races'. The aim is to bring the Morzine MTB community together and focus more on the "mates" than the "races", so if you're wanting to take things seriously then you've come to the wrong place. Everyone is welcome here, come along, have fun and make some new mates, but don't expect a professionally organised World Cup race.

RIP OFF WORLDS

“The best day of a Morzine summer” The Bike Morzine X Oakley RIP OFF WORLDS is back, bigger & better than ever!

Expect 300+ people all gathered for an awesome day on the hill to watch some of Europes best riders throw down huge whips on the infamous Widowmaker Jump for the Whip Off Contest. Followed by flips, spins and other loose tricks on the Trick Jump.

We'll have a Morzine Bike Club X Hideout BBQ selling food an IBEX Beers bar selling locally brewed beers & soft drinks.

We'll be giving out plenty of awesome Spot Prizes to lively crowd members so come up, join the fun and make some noise.

The main event will run from 12.30M till 4.30PM allowing spectators to get the lift down to town. In the evening they'll be a huge after party, live music and legendary Mini-bike Race or long jump comp at @ibex_the_wood_yard to wash things down well into the night.

AVORIAZ GRASS SLALOM

Combining forces with the legends at Avoriaz MTB to bring you the Grass Slalom Popcorn Party.

Head to head racing on a dual slalom track cut into the grass makes for high fun, low consequence racing fun for everyone. Whoever has the best cornering technique will take out the title.

DJ Tommy Bowers will be on the decks and they'll be beers provided by the Avoriaz MTB team so sure to be an awesome vibe.

It's late night Friday with the lifts open till 7.30 but you may have to roll down the road to Morzine if you miss the last lift.

Downhill Pumptrack

The downhill pumptrack is a completely unique concept of racing. Riders will be chainless making the race the ultimate test in carrying speed around corners and generating speed on the straights. This idea is made possible thanks to the Soylent Green trail, the perfect gradient and full of rollers, doubles and tables. This track is fun for everyone, the slower riders will enjoy the flow and the faster riders will link up doubles, rollers and tables like its a Red Bull Straight Rythmn course.

‍‍- Meet at the Top of Super Morzine lift at 4.50PM
- Last lift 5PM
- Race start at 5.15PM
-Prize Giving at Bec Jaune Brewery at 7ish
- Please note you will have to roll down the road to Super Morzine after the race, the lifts will be closed.
