The Worlds funnest MTB race series in Morzine.

Fun, Light hearted and accessible to all, these are the 3 main principles of Bike Morzine mates races . These are not "races" as you know them; no pressure, no ego and crappy tracks and bon vibes only. The Bike Morzine mates race series provides a light hearted, friendly and interesting format to race against your mates.

These races are completely free of charge and aim to bring the Morzine summer community together over their love of riding bikes, all washed down by plenty of beers and some good food. The races are free of charge to enter but please bring cash for a charitable donation, we use these races as an opportunity to raise money for many great causes, including the Morzine Youth Downhill team, Elle Souter foundation, planting trees & building new trails.

For those who haven't been to our mates races before, these are super low-pressure, friendly and social 'races'. Our aim is to bring the Morzine MTB community together and focus more on the "mates" than the "races", so if you're wanting to take things seriously then you've come to the wrong place. Everyone is welcome here, come along, have fun and make some new mates, but don't expect a professionally organised World Cup race.

Closing Day Party

What an absolutely epic Summer season 2024 has been, from some of the best events in recent history, exciting new trails and the world class riding we all know and love. We're sad to see the summer season end but already getting fired up for Summer 2025!

Event hosted on Le Pleney.

Sylvain Cochard will be shooting photos on Le Pleney for everyone to have something to take home. Photos will be uploaded here.

Morzine Velo Club will have a bar and music open from 11 AM Golden Tickets will be hidden around the hill from Sunday morning, see where these are hidden on @MorzineBikePark instagram stories. Find these and win prizes!

Megatrain from the top of Le Pleney for the last lift of the season. Meet up at the top terminal before 5PM. All participants will recieve a drink voucher and a medal.

Dual Slalom at the bottom of Le Pleney after the megatrain followed by a prize raffle.

SUPER MORZINE FLOW

Due to popular demand the 'race' track will now be on DA TRAIL red run on Super Morzine, a fun, fast and flowy tech single track that everyone can enjoy! Boasting a mix of turns, roots and a few jumps this track is for everyone. Please note riders are more than welcome to go around any jumps they're not comfortable hitting, including the road gap and hip jump.

- Meet at the Top of Zore Charilift (top of Super Morzine) at 4.45PM
- Last lift at 5
- Race start at 5.15ish
-Prize Giving at Bec Jaune Brewery at 7ish
- You will have to roll down the road to Morzine after the race as the lifts will be closed.

- Course starts at the arch at the top of Super Morzine, finishing when DA Trail hits the piste at the bottom.

Girls Race

Lets go Girls!

After an unbelievable response to last years Girls Race, we are back for 2024!

Hosted by Rose & Sona from Bike Morzine, this race provides one of the best vibes of the whole year the Girls race is all about encouraging more girls to race/ride in the Portes Du Soleil, friendly competition, supporting each other and some friendly competition!

On the lovely mellow Tutti Frutti Blue Trail on Super Morzine this race is designed for all the ladies out there, all ages and abilities from beginner to pro! Come on down, make some new friends and enjoy yourselves!

RIP OFF WORLDS

The Bike Morzine Rip Off Worlds is back and better than ever for 2024. Famously known as "The Best Day of a Morzine Summer" the Rip Off Worlds is about Huge Whips, Wild Tricks and an enjoying an awesome day of bikes, beers and bon vibes in the sun!

We'll be hosting the Whip Off on the infamous Super Morzine "Widowmaker" jump followed by a best trick jam session on the Mulch Jump. Both jumps are under the Zore Lift.

They'll be tunes, our friends at Ibex Brewery will keep the drinks flowing, Hideout will be providing food and the Bike Morzine Merch Stall will be in full swing.

Downhill Pumptrack

Test your pumping, jumping and cornering abilities in the ultimate game of carrying speed.

A chainless run down Soylent Green, the fast flowy green track full of pump bumps, doubles and berms that connects Super Morzine to Seraussaix lift. The beauty of this event is that it is for EVERYONE, the trail is a green run so anyone can get down it but the faster you go the funner it gets and will really test riders core skills!

We'd recommend an Enduro Bike but whatever rig you have will do the trick!

An absolute classic and for good reason, the only chance to "race" some of the Worlds fastest racers down Europes original and most iconic downhill track.

This is your chance to be crowed the King or Queen of Le Pleney for 2024 an elusive title that brings with it fame, riches and glory like you have never experienced.

For those who haven't been to our mates races before, these are super low-pressure, friendly and social. Our aim is to bring the Morzine MTB community together and focus more on the "mates" than the "races", so if you're wanting to take things seriously then you've come to the wrong place.
