If you're considering booking a Morzine Mountain bike holiday for the first time, then you're already on the right track but planning a mountain bike holiday in Morzine for the first time can be a little overwhelming. Where do you stay, what lift pass do you need, what is the best time to visit Morzine? These are all questions we receive on a regular basis. With decades of experience providing Morzine's best MB holidays were here to help you prepare for an unforgettable trip, which is why we put together this First Timers Guide to a Morzine MTB Holiday.

Choose the Right Time to Visit
Morzine's mountain biking season usually runs from Mid June to Mid September. July is by far the busiest month, where the weather is often sitting 27-30 degrees, with the occasional epic alpine storm. If you're looking for quieter trails, better deals on accommodation and more predictable weather we'd highly reccoimmend visiting in June, August or September.

Getting to Morzine
When choosing how to get to Morzine you've got 2 choices: drive or fly. Driving is relatively straightforward and can be a good option depending on where you are departing from but when taking into consideration fuel prices, time lost driving, ferry crossings and toll roads, its often far more convenient to fly. You can fly direct to Geneva from most major airports on budget airlines like Easyjet for as little as £30. Our airport transfer will be waiting to pick you up and its just a short 1.5 hours drive to the beautiful Morzine.

The Right Tool for the Job
Having the right bike for your Morzine MTB holiday is absolutely essential, because you'll do more riding in a week than 6 months of riding back home its important to make sure your bike is up to it. As a minimum we recommend a modern enduro bike with 150mm+ travel front & rear, powerful brakes and downhill ply tyres. Downhill bikes are also widely used. Make sure you give these a service before your holiday to avoid any mechanical blow outs! if you're travelling with your own bike we highly recommend bringing plenty of spares of anything specific to your bike, there are great bike shops in Morzine for common parts such as brake pads, tyres and other components

If your bike isn't up to the job, we offer Morzine's best bike hire with a huge range of Enduro bikes, Downhill bikes, E-bikes and kids mountain bikes, these are serviced every night to keep them running sweet and so you can spend more time enjoying your holiday and less time faffing.
