When Should You Book Your 2027 Morzine MTB Holiday?

The planning for Morzine Summer 2027 has already started. We're mid-season out here, sun's out, bikes absolutely everywhere, and bookings for next Summer are already landing in the inbox. Those people know something, if you want to reserve the best accommodaiton, bikes and guides. You've got to get in quick.

When Should You Book Your 2027 Morzine MTB Holiday?

Book between September and Christmas for the best choice. Accommodation for the school holidays and the big group weeks goes first, and it goes early. Lock in your week and your beds now, then sort bike hire, lift passes and transfers closer to the time.

Why Do the Best Places Go So Early?

Simple maths. There are only so many big chalets in town that sleep a proper riding group, and the groups who come every year rebook their favourite weeks before they've even unpacked. We've been doing this since 2013 and the pattern never changes: the peak July and August weeks in the best Morzine MTB accommodation are gone long before spring. January enquiries for a 12-person chalet in early August are the hardest emails we have to answer (sorry to everyone we've had to let down gently).

What About 2027 Lift Dates and Prices?

Honest answer: they haven't been confirmed yet. The lift company usually announces dates and prices over the winter, and we shout about it the moment we know. The good news is you don't need any of that to book your accommodation, that's the bit that sells out. 

Lift dates are reliable from Mid June - Mid September every year this rarely changes and if you had somehow booked outside of lift dates we will do what we can to move you. You can view this years lift pass opening dates to get a solid idea of what Summer 2027 lift opening dates will look like.

What Do You Actually Need to Decide Now?

Just two things: your week and your group size. Book in your accommodation and everything else can wait.

‍Bike hire, airport transfers (£58 each way from Geneva, which is only about 1.5 hours away) and passes can all be added months later. If your group chat is still arguing about dates, get in touch anyway and we'll tell you which weeks are moving fastest. Then last year's trip to Morzine becomes this year's trip to Morzine, and everyone's happy.
