Everything feels more expensive at the moment, your bike is held together with zip ties, a drink with friends and paying your bills cost a small fortune. And then there is filling your car up with fuel, that'll really put a dent in your wallet.

But you work hard all year to afford these things, and this year more than ever you deserve that summer holiday and something to look forward to! A Morzine summer holiday doesnt have to blow the budget and we've put together some insider tips on how to keep costs down whilst still having an awesome holiday.

1. Choose the right accommodation.

Where you will stay is the most important decision you'll make around your trip. Choose the right spot, with the right company and you're set for an awsome time.

One of the biggest ways to save on your trip is by booking self catered accommodation, allowing you to cook meals for yourselves with ease.  Supermarket food prices in Morzine are reasonable, you can go extreme and cook budget meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner and save a fortune. But even cooking 1-2 meals a day at your accommodation will save hundreds of Euros.

2. Book Early.

Its no secret that the best value accommodation options always sell out first, reserve your spot as early as possible to have the pick of the bunch.

Flight Prices will also rise the closer you get to your holiday. In general flight prices are cheapest 8-10 weeks out from your trip.

Flights from UK - Geneva can start from as little as £30, but are often closet to £150 each way. Get in early and secure those deals!

3. Get a Group Together.

Sharing the costs of a trip across a group make it far cheaper per person. You can book larger accommodation: apartments or chalets are far cheaper per person than hotel rooms.

You can also share costs on airport transfers; £299 for a private transfer up to 8PAX vs £58 per person for an individual transfer. If you are driving to Morzine aswell splitting the fuel costs is a huge help given the cost of fuel at the moment!

4. Visit Outside of Peak Season.

Plan your trip for June, late August or Early September and take advantage of far cheaper pricing on accommodation, flights and much more.  Not only are these non-peak times cheaper to visit but they're also some of our favourites due to more predictable weather, better trail conditions and far less crowds.
